57th Cambridge Fulbourn

What’s it all about!

If you think Scouting’s just about knots, woggles and big shorts, then be prepared to be surprised.
It’s how Richard Branson, Barack Obama and David Beckham got their start in life and you can benefit too.
There are 450,000 young people in Scouting, spread across five sections: Beaver Scouts, Cub Scouts, Scouts, Explorer Scouts and the Scout Network. Each section has its own balanced programme of activities, badges and awards.

Fulbourn 57th Scouts Group provides 3 sections of the Scouting community.

Each Section has a range of activities lead by a Scout Leader and other volunteers throughout Term Time weeks of the year. During the winter months these are generally in-doors based with many excusions throughout the year to the local area.
Each week builds the opportunity for the members to grow and learn and ‘Be Prepared’ for the future. Building Teamwork and Social skills as well as the practical skills needed to be a Scout. From knots to boat building and how to build a fire! These skills build to rewards and Badges.
Each section has a mix of Girls and Boys and is not restricted.
